Two new lab buildings, both certified LEED silver, are narrow in plan in order to provide light and views to the labs while forming an edge to newly created outdoor green spaces. Interior Collaborative learning and social spaces were developed with rich materials to encourage collaboration, as a counterpoint to the utilitarian labs.
